His work bridged the audit and tax sides of the organization and allowed him to develop and execute strategies for clients to maximize the flow of money from a client’s customers to their stakeholders and investors. Anthony next joined a Maryland based real estate development firm where he successfully led all accounting and financial reporting for the development of a $200 million real estate joint-venture project between his firm and one of the world’s largest private equity firms. Anthony also served as a liaison between all parties involved in the venture. After the completion of the joint-venture, Anthony joined one of most successful Washington, DC based technology companies where he helped raise $120 million over three funding rounds and helped grow the company from a 10 person startup to a mid-sized 250 person organization. During this tenure he helped refine a transactional recording system so that it could accurately scale transactional volume by 15,000%. He also built the organization’s accounting department and re-built its financial reporting and payroll functions from scratch.
